Charlotte has fired head coach Aaron Fearne, the program announced Tuesday, ending his tenure after three seasons.
Fearne compiled a 47-51 record during his time on the sideline. Charlotte’s most recent campaign concluded with a loss in the American conference semifinals, marking the team’s final result under his leadership.
The move closes a three-year stretch defined by near-.500 results overall and a postseason run that reached the conference’s semifinal round. Charlotte will now turn to the process of identifying its next head coach following Fearne’s dismissal.
