San Antonio Spurs starting guard De’Aaron Fox will remain out Wednesday night for Game 2 against the Oklahoma City Thunder because of a right high ankle sprain.

The absence marks Fox’s second consecutive missed game as San Antonio continues its matchup with Oklahoma City. Fox, a key part of the Spurs’ backcourt, has been sidelined by the ankle injury and will not be available for the second game of the series.

San Antonio will again have to proceed without one of its primary guards as it faces the Thunder on Wednesday night.
