Michigan will have its lead guard back next season.
Star point guard Elliot Cadeau, who was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four, said Thursday that he will return to the Wolverines for his senior season.
Cadeau delivered the news in comments to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, confirming that he will be back in Ann Arbor for another year.
What it means for Michigan
Cadeau’s return keeps a proven, high-profile floor general in place for the Wolverines after a postseason run that culminated with the Final Four, where he earned the event’s top individual honor. Michigan now retains the point guard who led the team through its biggest stage of the season and emerged as the tournament’s standout performer.
