Michigan has added a major piece to its 2026 recruiting class with the commitment of five-star senior Brandon McCoy Jr.
McCoy, regarded as one of the top-five point guards in the 2026 class, gives the Wolverines another high-end backcourt addition as the program continues to build out its future roster.

McCoy is Michigan’s sixth commitment in the 2026 class, further strengthening a group that has continued to grow in numbers. His pledge adds to the Wolverines’ early recruiting foundation for the cycle.
