Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant will miss at least two more weeks as he continues to recover from a left elbow injury.

Morant sprained the ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow on Jan. 21. The team announced he will remain sidelined for a minimum of two additional weeks while progressing through his recovery.

What it means for Memphis

Morant’s continued absence keeps Memphis without its primary playmaker and one of the league’s most dynamic guards. The Grizzlies will continue to manage their backcourt rotation as he works toward a return.
