Restricted free agent center Moussa Cisse has agreed to a two-year contract offer sheet with the New York Knicks.
Because Cisse is a restricted free agent, the Dallas Mavericks hold the right to match the offer and keep him. The Mavericks have 48 hours to make that decision under the terms of restricted free agency.
Knicks Make Move for Frontcourt Depth
The agreement gives New York a chance to add Cisse to its frontcourt, pending Dallas’ response. If the Mavericks decline to match the offer sheet within the required window, Cisse would join the Knicks on the two-year deal.
For now, the transaction remains in the hands of Dallas, which must determine whether to match the Knicks’ offer or allow Cisse to move on.
