Michigan’s men’s basketball team returned to campus Tuesday as national champions, bringing the trophy back to Ann Arbor and sharing the moment with fans at the Crisler Center.
Dozens of supporters gathered to greet the team, turning the homecoming into a celebration of the program’s championship run. Addressing the crowd, coach Dusty May emphasized the connection between the team and its fan base.

May told the fans who welcomed the Wolverines that “this trophy is yours,” framing the title as a shared achievement with those who supported the team throughout the season.
The return to campus capped a championship journey for Michigan, with the team arriving home to applause and a trophy presentation atmosphere at Crisler Center.
