Michigan starting point guard Elliot Cadeau rejoined his teammates at the Final Four on Thursday and said he is “fine” after an allergic reaction that required hospitalization the previous day.
Cadeau said the reaction was the result of an accidental exposure to nuts.
Back with the team
Cadeau’s return brings Michigan’s primary ball-handler back into the fold as the Wolverines continue their Final Four run. The program did not detail additional medical information beyond Cadeau’s account of the cause, but his presence with the team marked a quick turnaround after the midweek scare.
The hospitalization came one day before Cadeau spoke Thursday, and he indicated the situation stemmed from an unintended contact with nuts. Cadeau rejoined the group in time for Final Four activities, returning to the team environment after the incident.
