Michigan star forward Yaxel Lendeborg said he “absolutely” plans to play Monday night when the Wolverines face UConn in the national championship game.
Lendeborg’s statement comes as Michigan readies for its final game of the season, with a title on the line against the Huskies. His presence would keep a central piece of the Wolverines’ frontcourt in place for the championship matchup.
Title game set for Monday
Michigan and UConn will meet Monday night in the national title game. Lendeborg, one of Michigan’s top players, indicated he expects to be available for the contest.
