The NBA will not punish Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo for striking former teammate Tyler Herro during an altercation at a Las Vegas gym last Friday.
A league spokesperson confirmed Thursday that Adebayo will not face disciplinary action from the incident. No additional punishment, fine, or suspension will be issued by the league.
Adebayo remains one of Miami’s central players, while Herro, his former Heat teammate, was involved in the gym incident that prompted league review. The matter is now closed from the NBA’s disciplinary standpoint.
