Houston Rockets big man Alperen Sengun has been selected to the NBA All-Star Game as an injury replacement for reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who will miss the event due to injury.
Sengun will join the World team, earning an All-Star nod in place of Gilgeous-Alexander. The change was announced as part of the league’s process for filling open roster spots when a selected player is unable to participate.
