The San Antonio Spurs will be without two key pieces Wednesday night against the Portland Trail Blazers.
The team ruled out Victor Wembanyama due to a left rib contusion and Stephon Castle with a sore right knee.
Injury update
Wembanyama was officially listed out with the rib issue, and Castle was also downgraded to out because of knee soreness. The Spurs did not provide additional details beyond the injury designations.
San Antonio will now head into the matchup shorthanded, with Wembanyama and Castle unavailable for the game against Portland.
