Texas Tech guard Christian Anderson will remain in the NBA draft, according to his agent, Aaron Mintz of CAA Basketball.

Anderson, a projected top-20 pick, put together a strong season for the Red Raiders while showcasing production as both a scorer and facilitator. The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 18.5 points and 7.4 assists per game, while shooting 41.5% from 3-point range.

Efficient Backcourt Production

Anderson’s combination of scoring volume, playmaking and perimeter efficiency made him one of the notable guard prospects in this draft class. His decision to stay in the draft confirms that he will continue the pre-draft process rather than return to Texas Tech.

The move leaves Texas Tech without one of its top backcourt contributors after Anderson’s standout campaign.
