The Oklahoma City Thunder signed former Iowa forward Payton Sandfort to a two-way contract, the team announced. In a corresponding move, Oklahoma City waived guard Buddy Boeheim.
Sandfort, who played collegiately at Iowa, joins the Thunder on a two-way deal, a contract structure that allows teams to split a player’s time between the NBA roster and the G League.
Boeheim, a guard, was waived as Oklahoma City adjusted its roster.
