Oklahoma City’s Jaylin Williams and Washington’s Justin Champagnie were ejected following an altercation late in the first half of Sunday night’s game, a 132-111 Thunder win over the Wizards.
The incident resulted in four total ejections. Williams and Champagnie were among the players removed as officials assessed the situation before play resumed.
Thunder pull away after first-half disruption
Despite the stoppage and ensuing ejections, Oklahoma City maintained control and finished with a 21-point victory. The Thunder’s 132 points marked a high-scoring night as they closed out the game comfortably.
Washington, meanwhile, was unable to recover after the first-half altercation and fell by double digits as Oklahoma City continued to build its lead.
