The NBA revealed Sunday that the image of the Larry O'Brien Trophy will be painted at midcourt for the Finals, bringing a prominent championship visual back to the game floor.
The league also announced that the script logo for “The Finals” will appear on either side of the court. The design elements will be used as part of the official court presentation for the championship series.
The Larry O'Brien Trophy is awarded annually to the NBA champion, making its placement at center court a direct nod to the stakes of the Finals. The return of the script branding also restores a familiar visual identity associated with the league’s title round.
