Road wins set the tone on Oct. 3, with six away teams taking results across Prvenstvo BiH and the ACB before Toronto produced the night’s largest margin in a 129-105 win over Miami.
The eight-game slate stretched across four competitions, but the pattern was clear: visiting teams found answers late, controlled hostile floors and turned tight matchups into statement results. In Prvenstvo BiH, all four games went to the road side. In Spain, Tenerife won at Unicaja and Breogan outlasted Manresa in the highest-scoring game of the day.
Raptors deliver the night’s biggest statement
Toronto Raptors handled Miami Heat 129-105 in the NBA, the most decisive result on the board. The 24-point margin stood apart on a night otherwise defined by tighter finishes and road pressure.
For Toronto, the result was not just about volume scoring. Reaching 129 points against Miami created separation that no other winner matched on the slate. The Raptors were the only team to win by more than 16 points, turning the matchup into the clear headline result of the day.
ACB: Tenerife and Breogan win away
Tenerife went into Unicaja and came away with an 80-75 win, one of the sharpest road results of the slate. In a game decided by five points, Tenerife’s ability to keep the score in its preferred range mattered. Unicaja reached 75 but could not generate enough separation at home.
Breogan followed with a 101-95 win at Manresa in the highest-scoring game of the day. Both teams pushed into the 90s, but Breogan’s offensive output was just enough to finish the job away from home. It was the only game on the slate in which both teams scored at least 95 points.
Prvenstvo BiH: Road teams sweep the card
Prvenstvo BiH delivered the strongest trend of the night: four games, four road wins.
Igman beat Drina 88-76, producing the largest margin among the Bosnia fixtures. Leotar Trebinje also controlled its road assignment, defeating Slavija 85-75.
The tighter results came elsewhere. Orlovik edged Sloboda 84-81 in a three-point game, while Basket Zivinice won 71-64 at Mrkonjic Grad. Those results completed a clean sweep for visiting teams and gave the league’s Oct. 3 slate a clear competitive theme.
NBA W: Valkyries hold off Wings
Golden State Valkyries W closed out Dallas Wings W 77-73 in the lone NBA W matchup. It was a four-point result and one of the tightest games of the day, with Golden State protecting home court while most of the broader slate tilted toward road teams.
In a day shaped by away wins, the Valkyries’ result stood out for a different reason: home-court survival. Golden State was one of only two home teams to win across the eight games, joining Toronto.
